Our Most Important Resource: Employees!
It is refreshing to know that nearly one in two Americans believe the most important proof of corporate social responsibility is treating employees well!
A national opinion survey commissioned by the National Consumers League firstname.lastname@example.org and Fleishman-Hillard International Communications http://www.fleishman.com found that 76 percent of American consumers agree that to be socially responsible, companies should invest actively and visibly in their employees. Lately, renewable resources, waste reduction and commitment to the environment are the “in” thing. As we dutifully take on being green, we cannot forget about employees! Employees are our most important assets. A satisfied employee is bound to produce more satisfied customers as well as increased profits. Providing healthy incentives, influencing staff to make small lifestyle changes is a great management principle that has a cumulative effect on employees. Let’s not just recycle! Let’s renew, recyle and remember our employees are the most valuable resource tool we have.
