Themed Outreach Communications Raise Awareness in Community
Cabin John, February 8 2012 – Wellness Corporate Solutions, a Cabin John-based business located in the office space above the Wild Tomato restaurant, kicked off February with a heart healthy wellness initiative.
Heart disease is the number one killer in the United States and February 1 marked the start of Nati onal Heart Health month. As a wellness company, Wellness Corporate Solutions aims to raise awareness of unhealthy habits and promote heart health.
On January 30th, the ever-growing WCS team gathered together and struck a heart-shaped pose on a grassy knoll next to MacArthur Boulevard. A nearby construction worker agreed to take the office picture from his high altitude perch in a cherry picker.
The photo was transformed into a cheery postcard reminding clients and community members alike to make heart health a priority.
Fiona Gathright, President of Wellness Corporate Solutions, commented: “The intention of the heart picture was to raise awareness about cardiovascular health within our immediate circle but also to paint a picture of the WCS corporate culture. We wanted to say, ‘This is who we are. This is what we’re all about.’”
